Guess Who? India Edition (Android app, package in.co.pcssolutions.guesswho)
Effective date: 10 July 2026 · Published by PCS Solutions

The short version: Guess Who? India Edition works completely offline and collects no personal data whatsoever. Nothing you do in the app ever leaves your device.

1. Information we collect

None. The app does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information, usage data, analytics, identifiers, or diagnostics. It does not request the Internet permission, so it is technically incapable of sending data off your device.

2. Data stored on your device

The app saves a single piece of information locally on your device: your best game score. This is stored in the app's private storage, is never transmitted anywhere, and is deleted automatically when you uninstall the app (or when you clear the app's data from Android settings).

3. Permissions

The app requests no permissions. It has no access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone, files, or network.

4. Accounts, ads and tracking

5. Celebrity photographs

The photographs shown in the game are bundled inside the app and are sourced from Wikimedia Commons under their respective open licenses (Creative Commons BY / BY-SA and the Government Open Data License – India). Full attribution for every image, including author, license, and a link to the original file, is available on the Image Credits screen inside the app. Guess Who? India Edition is an unofficial fan trivia game and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any person featured.

6. External links

The Image Credits screen contains links to the original image pages on Wikimedia Commons. Tapping a link opens your device's web browser; browsing from that point onwards is governed by your browser's and Wikimedia's own privacy policies, not this one.

7. Children

The app is a general-audience trivia game. Because it collects no data at all, it poses no data-privacy risk to children. It contains no chat, no purchases, and no user-generated content.

8. Data deletion

Since no data is collected by us, there is nothing for us to delete. To remove the locally stored best score, simply clear the app's data in Android settings or uninstall the app.

9. Changes to this policy

If a future version of the app ever changes how data is handled, this page will be updated before that version is released, and the effective date above will be revised.
